FINAL  SELF-ASSESSMENT:

-ENGLISH: In this course I have learned a lot of things, vocabulary, grammar and a lot of culture, I have enjoyed a lot with Clarissa and most of the lessons have been very funny. The things I have learned this term are going to be very useful in my day to day    and in the second term my marks have improved.

-P.E.: I have learned some interesting sports and I enjoy it a lot because I love sports.

-GEOPRAPHY: This year I have worked hard to learn this subject, an I think it was worth it, I have learned a lot of things about countries and world in general. This effort it´s going to help me in next years.

NIGERIA PROJECT

AGRICULTURA  LANSCAPE

In this image you can see that is dry farming crops. 
Is extensive because it is a large field. 
Is polyculture because there are different crops grown at the same time in order of satisfy the needs of the owners.
You can appreciate that is for a rich country and they used large machinery for agricultural activities.
The crops are regulars and small.
It can be smallholding if you count one by one but all of them together can be a state farm.

GEOGRAPHY VOCABULARY

Ocean-the large mass of saltwater that cover most of the earth’s surface.
Valley-an area of low land between arial or mountains, often with a river or stream running through it.
Coast-the land next to or close to the sea.
River-water that flows naturally through a wide channel that is surroundedby land.
Oasis-an area in a desert where there is water and trees can grow.
Desert-a large, dry area where there is very little rain and few plants.
Archipelago-a group of islands, or an area of sea where there are many islands.
Flood-to fill or become covered with water or to cause this to happen to something.
Earthquake- violent movement of the earth’s surface, often causing damage and sometimes deaths.
Liveshock-Ganadería.
Cattle ranching-Ganado vacuno.
Slop-Ladera.
Ash-the soft, gray or black, powdery substance left after something hasburned.
Ridge-Mountain range.
Creeks-a small river or stream.
Ravine-Small canyon.
Brine-water that you can´t drink.
Taiga-Is a forest made up of ever green trees.
Birth rate-the number of births that happen during a period of time in aparticular place.
Death rate-the number of people who die in a particular group orarea in a particular period of time.
Life expectancy- the average length of the life of members of a group ofpeople or animals.
Ageing-relating to getting older.
